💜 October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Westside is going PURPLE! 💜

On Sunday, October 11th, we invite our Westside Church family to wear purple as we stand together in support of survivors, honor their courage, and raise awareness about the impact of domestic violence in our families and communities. 💜🕊️🤝🏾

Let our purple be more than a color. Let it be a visible expression of compassion, support, safety, prayer, hope, and healing for those who may be hurting, including those who may be suffering in silence.

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Westside is going PINK! 🎀

On Sunday, October 18th, we invite our Westside Church family to wear pink as we stand together in support of survivors, those currently fighting, families, caregivers, and everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer. 💗🙏🏾🌸

Let our pink be more than a color. Let it be a visible expression of love, support, awareness, encouragement, and hope. Together, we can encourage one another, promote recommended screening and early detection, and remind those walking this journey that they are not alone. 💞

Westside Missionary Baptist Church invites our church family to join us on Sunday, October 25, 2026, as we recognize and celebrate our clergy in observance of National Clergy Appreciation Month. Ministry is more than standing behind the sacred desk. It is answering God's call to serve, teach, pray, counsel, encourage, lead, and walk alongside His people through every season of life. This special day gives us an opportunity to pause and express our gratitude for the faithful service, spiritual leadership, sacrifice, and commitment of those God has called to ministry at Westside.

We invite the entire Westside family to come together as we honor, encourage, and show our appreciation for our clergy and thank God for their continued service to His people and His Kingdom.
