WMBC Graduate Recognition Program
Westside Missionary Baptist Church is proud to celebrate the academic and professional achievements of our graduating members during our 2025 Graduation Recognition Program. This special celebration will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, during the Morning Worship Experience, as we honor those who have completed High School, College/University degrees, Trade School certifications, and Certificate or Licensing Programs. Each graduate will be acknowledged individually and presented with a certificate of recognition from WMBC. We encourage all graduates to wear their cap and gown (if applicable). Family, friends, and fellow members are invited to celebrate and support our scholars as we give God praise for their success and bright future ahead.

Westside MBC Presents the "Did Christ Arise?" Play
The Westside Outreach Ministry presents “Did Christ Arise?” This play is set in a court room where Christianity is on trial. The question on the table is “Did Christ Arise?” This play is more than just a performance—it’s an opportunity to minister through drama, to inspire souls, and to bring non-believers into an environment where they can experience the love and message of Christ. Come out and learn the history behind Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. Tickets are free. A freewill offering will be collected during the play.

All Servant Leaders/Ministry Leaders are required to attend this meeting. If the servant leader/ministry leader isn’t able to attend, please have another member of the ministry to attend in their stead.
Jewel Bible Institute
Jewel Bible Institute is a ministry of Eastern Star Church’s Christian Education Department. It functions as an institution of higher learning for the instruction of primarily adult students committed to the study of God’s Word and growth in their discipleship journey in Christ. Jewel Bible Institute will offer classes starting Tuesday, January 14, 2025. All classes will be on Tuesday evenings, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Each course is 8 weeks long. Registration opens December 15, 2024 and will run through January 5, 2025. Courses available are How To Study The Bible, Biblical Studies, Old Testament Survey, and Introduction To Theology.
