Day 1: Proverbs 9:10 NLT

Fear of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.

  • Pray we will reverence the Lord

  • Pray we will respond to the Lord

  • Pray we will receive wisdom from the Lord

 Day 2: Ephesians 2:10 NIV

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

  • Pray and thank God we are His handiwork

 Day 3: Proverbs 11:3 NIV

The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.

Fear of the LORD teaches wisdom; humility precedes honor. 

  • Pray that our reverence for the Lord will reveal the wisdom of the Lord

 Day 5: Proverbs 16:9 NLT

We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.

  • Pray that we will be diligent in our planning today

  • Pray the Lord will direct our steps today

 Day 6: Proverbs 29:18 NLT

When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.

  • Pray God will give His divine guidance in our work today

 Day 7: Proverbs 21:5 NIV

The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.

  • Pray we will be diligent in our preparation today

Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed.

Whoever disregards discipline comes to poverty and shame, but whoever heeds correction is honored.

  • Pray we will be open to receive discipline in our work

 Day 10: Proverbs 19:20 NLT

Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life.

Day 21: Proverbs 22:4 NLT

True humility and fear of the LORD lead to riches, honor, and long life.

  • Pray that we will humble ourselves under Gods mighty hand in our work

  • Pray that we will have a holy reverence for God in our work

  • Pray that the Lord will bless us with riches, honor and long life from our work

 Day 22: Proverbs 15:1 NLT

A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.

  • Pray that we will give a gentle answer in response to heated situations

  • Pray our words will deflect another persons anger

  • Pray we will avoid using harsh words in heated interactions

 Day 23: Proverbs 20:24 NIV

A person’s steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand their own way?

  • Pray that the Lord will direct our steps along the way

Day 24: Proverbs 10:9 NIV

Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.

 Day 25: Proverbs 22:29 NIV

Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.

  • Pray the Lord will help us to become skilled in our work

  • Pray the Lord will promote us to places of prominence for our work

Day 26: Proverbs 24:27 NLT

Do your planning and prepare your fields before building your house.

  • Pray that we will plan our work before doing our work

  • Pray we will prepare for work before starting our work

  • Pray we will prioritize key items before initiating our work 

  • Pray God will bless what we build 

 Day 27: Proverbs 22:1 NLT

Choose a good reputation over great riches; being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold.

  • Pray that we will choose a good reputation over chasing resources

  • Pray we will consider how others see us over chasing silver and gold 

 Day 28: Proverbs 13:22 NIV

A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.

  • Pray and ask God to help us leave an inheritance to our children’s children

  • Pray God will distribute to us what He has in store for us

 Day 29: Proverbs 11:25 NIV

A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

  • Pray and ask God to give us a generous heart and generous hands

  • Pray will will reap what we sow

 Day 30: Proverbs 4:25-26 NLT

Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. [26] Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path.

  • Pray we will stay focused on the plans God has for us

Day 11: Proverbs 15:22 NIV

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.

  • Pray we will seek counsel in planning our work

  • Pray we will be surrounded by many advisers in our work

  • Pray God will cause our plans to succeed in our work

Day 12: Proverbs 11:14 HCSB

Without guidance, a people will fall, but with many counselors there is deliverance.

  • Pray the Lord send His divine guidance in our work

  • Pray the Lord will send counselors in our work

  • Pray we will be free to produce for Him in our work

 Day 13: Proverbs 27:17 NLT

As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.

  • Pray the Lord will make us sharp at work

  • Pray the Lord help us sharpen others at work

 Day 14: Proverbs 15:31 NLT

If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise.

  • Pray and ask the Lord to help us receive constructive criticism

 Day 15: Proverbs 16:32 NLT

Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self-control than to conquer a city.

  • Pray that The Lord will give us patience in our work for Him

  • Pray that The Lord will give us self-control in our work for Him

 Day 16: Proverbs 25:28 NIV

Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control.

  • Pray that The Lord will protect us when we do not exhibit self-control in our work for Him

  • Pray that The Lord will teach us to have self-control 

 Day 17: James 1:2-3 NIV

[2] Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, [3] because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

  • Pray and thank God for the trials we face.

Day 18: Proverbs 19:21 NIV

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.

  • Pray that we will make plans to win in our life and work

…for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.

  • Pray and ask God to forgive us for our past failures

 Day 20: Genesis 50:20 NIV

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

  • Pray that we will forgive those who mean us harm at work

  • Pray that God will use our persecution to accomplish His purpose in our work
